STURGIS — The Sturgis Living Faith and Word Church welcomed approximately 30 youth to its Love, Excitement and Devotion (LED) fun night at the Sturgis Community Hall on April 27.
“It was a fun night of games, music, and encouragement in the Lord. Two Christian bands preformed, ‘All Sales Final’ and ‘The Gladstone’, as well as ‘Alonzo’ a Christian DJ,” stated Maicey Scheller, one of the youth organizers.
“We heard a message from Lonnie Sims, He shared with us how true life is only found in Jesus who loves us and laid down His life on the cross for the sins of the world and was raised again to bring us new life in Him!
“We also enjoyed games, prizes, and pizza at the LED youth event. It was a great night for youth to come together and have fun for the purpose of glorifying God and learning,” concluded Scheller.
