The Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Community Developmemt Corporation Board of Directors presented Tricia Kennedy of the Boys and Girls Club with a cheque for $25,000 Tuesday to replace the equipment for their hockey program.

The previous equipment was made unusable in an unfortunate flood at their Don Ross storage room. They applied to the CDC for additional emergency funding.

The Boys and Girls Club hockey program consists of 40 athletes and is run by volunteers. The program offers youth between the ages of 5-14 the opportunity to experience hockey each year and it is one of their most popular programs.

The BATC CDC was pleased to be able to assist the Boys and Girls Club to continue this program for the 2020 season and offered thanks to the Boys & Girls Club for the great work they do in the community and the inclusive programming they offer.
