Police look for suspects after bear spray deployed on buses

Shortly after 10 p.m., Feb. 25, police responded to a transit bus in the 300 block of Confederation Drive after it was reported that a group of youth deployed bear spray at a passenger on the bus before fleeing on foot.

SASKATOON - Saskatoon Police responded to two incidents of bear spray being deployed on City of Saskatoon Transit buses. 

Shortly after 10 p.m., Feb. 25, police responded to a transit bus in the 300 block of Confederation Drive after it was reported that a group of youth deployed bear spray at a passenger on the bus before fleeing on foot. 

Then, at approximately 11 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to 20th Street West and Avenue O South after it was reported that bear spray was deployed on a bus. The suspects fled before police arrived.

Police are continuing to investigate.
