The evening highlighted speaker Brian Dobie a man pretty much synonymous with football in Manitoba.

The annual event saw some 85 youth both male and female athletes ages 9–18 attending .

The first game drew fans with some 14,018 at BC Place, who saw the home side win 1-0.

Next up, the Saskatchewan Rush will face the Halifax Thunderbirds in a best-of-three semifinal series.

New faces try their hand during daylong camp held in the city.

All-star players from the U15 Highway 9 Predators were: Shiloh Leson and Emmett Demchuk of Canora, Gavin Erickson of Preeceville, and goalie Emmett Lukey of Norquay.

Athletes from across Western Canada and the northern U.S. gathered in Yorkton for the weekend event.

The event was well-attended, with 14 officials participating.

The city is Leeuwarden which has around 125,000 inhabitants and was liberated on April 15th by the Royal Canadian Dragoons.

The winningest coach in Bisons’ football history, Brain Dobie remains drawn to the stadium where he has spent so many hours coaching.
