Touching moments: Flowers, cards, and kisses at homicide scene

The 25-year-old man is the city's eighth homicide victim of 2024.

SASKATOON – On Tuesday morning, people started placing flowers, cards, cigarettes, and a teddy bear at the scene where a 25-year-old man laid after he was shot about 12:50 a.m. on April 16.

An unidentified man kissed his hand and then placed it on the blood stain on the 20th Street side walk Tuesday morning.

A card was placed at the site that says: “Kade: I love you and I miss you my boy.”

Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section are investigating.

The man is the city’s eighth homicide victim of 2024.
