GIMLI, Man. — An aerial applicator pilot was taken to hospital after a crash in the RM of Bifrost-Riverton on Sunday.
According to an RCMP news release, Gimli police responded to the crash in the early afternoon of July 21. The crop-dusting plane was spraying a field when its wing clipped a tree.
The pilot and lone occupant, a 33-year-old man from the area, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, police said.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada was notified.
