Biathlon skier wins first medal at 2023 Canada Winter Games

REGINA - Saskatchewan has its first medal of the 2023 Canada Winter Games!

Rhiann Arnold of Prudhomme secured a bronze medal in the biathlon six km sprint - female at the Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park at Brookvale on Monday. She finished with a time of 19:16.3.

Jaelyn Selinger of Regina finished in fifth-place with a time of 19.36.9. Amelia McDonald of Deer Valley finished 19th with a time of 22.32.7, while Kaycee Nord of Bushell Park finished in 28th place with a time of 24.59.6.
