Team Sask set to face B.C., week two at Canada Winter Games

Monday is a training day for most sports with competitions set to begin across the board on February 28.

REGINA - Week two is ready to begin at the PEI 2023 Canada Winter Games and all eyes will be on hockey on Monday night.

  • Team Sask opens week two as the only sport on the schedule. The team will be playing round robin games in Summerside beginning with tonight’s game vs B.C. At the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Team Saskatchewan went 1-2 in the preliminary round before falling to Ontario in the quarterfinal. Team Saskatchewan finished the tournament in 6th place. 

  • Excitement is building around this year's group and a strong contingent of Saskatchewan fans are expected to be inside Credit Union Place in Summerside when the puck drops at 5:30 p.m. CST.
