It appears there was a significant increase in voter turnout in Souris-Moose Mountain for the advanced polls for the federal election.
According to estimates supplied by Elections Canada, there were 11,679 people in the riding who voted in the advanced polls, which were open from Friday to Monday.
In the previous election in 2019, 9,256 votes were cast at an advanced poll in this constituency.
In Saskatchewan, an estimated 182,438 people voted at advanced polls, compared with 151,723 in 2019.
All Saskatchewan ridings had an increase in advanced polling numbers, with the exception of one in Saskatoon.
Election day is Sept. 20.
