With hundreds of hockey fans behind them, the 2025 Canora Hockey Day in Saskatchewan Organizing Committee, made up of members from the Canora Senior Cobras, Canora Skating Club, Canora Minor Hockey Association and Town of Canora, presented a cheque for $160,541.10 to the Town of Canora for the construction of a new skating rink/multi-use facility on March 21. From left, were: Ryley Stefanyshyn (Cobras), Cecilia Keinick (Skating Club), Crystal Reine (CMHA) , Councillor Gina Rakochy, Mayor Mike Kwas, Parker Rice (CMHA), Stacy Vangen (CMHA), Councillor Denise Leslie, Dean Wilgosh (Cobras) and Councillor Todd Bobyk.
