SASKATOON — Marie Villeneau went to Canora to visit her sister; she left Canora with a whole lot more than memories. The Saskatoon resident picked up a Poker Lotto and All In ticket and won $101,408!

“We were going to have perogies for dinner and needed sour cream,” she said during her prize claim interview. “When I was paying, I asked for a Poker Lotto and All In and the machine went off!”

“I looked at the ticket and the amount and went straight into shock!” she said, “And I’ve been on a high ever since! It’s a good feeling – a really good feeling!”

Villeneau said she has a couple ideas for her windfall.

“First, I’m going to pay off my car!” she laughed. “My husband and I were also looking at buying a new trailer… we’ll probably upgrade a bit now.”

The happy winner said she also plans to share her prize with her family.

Villeneau purchased her winning ticket from the Gateway Co-op at 707 Norway Rd. in Canora. One of her Poker Lotto hands matched a Royal Flush, winning an instant $10,000, plus the $91,406 All In jackpot. Another one of her hands also instantly won $2 for a Pair of Jacks or better.
