The Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched on Oct. 13 to a structure fire in Canora. When police arrived, a neighbouring structure had also caught fire.

Thirteen candidates are running for the six council spots in the Wednesday, Nov. 13 civic election.

There was a steady flow of hungry visitors for the Canora & District Firefighters Pancake Breakfast at the Curling Rink during Fire Prevention Week on Oct. 12.
