Locals Up For Country Music Awards

This year’s Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards banquet features some local talent on the list of nominees, hopeful that they’ll be able to take home some hardware that speaks to their talent and the impact that their music has had.

This year’s Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards banquet features some local talent on the list of nominees, hopeful that they’ll be able to take home some hardware that speaks to their talent and the impact that their music has had.

Lisa Moen, formerly Myrol of Outlook, is up for three awards; Female Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year (All I Ask Of You), and Country Music Person.

As well, local singer and songwriter Mandy Ringdal is also a nominee this year, as she’s also up for Video of the Year for her song “Bobby’s Drums”.

The SCMA Awards banquet takes place as part of the 28th annual SCMA Awards Weekend and Country Music Festival from March 31 to April 2 in Saskatoon.
