Canuck Amusements Carnival visits Kamsack

Families, friends, and visitors from neighbouring towns flocked to the event, creating a large line to the ticket booth within the first hour.

KAMSACK — The town of Kamsack came alive with vibrant energy as it hosted the Canuck Carnival from June 21 to 23, drawing residents and visitors alike to enjoy a weekend of fun and excitement.

The event featured a variety of attractions, including 10rides, six games, and two food concessions, offering something for everyone. Justin, the General Manager of the Canuck Carnival, expressed his enthusiasm about the event during an interview with the Kamsack Times shortly before the Carnival opened.

“I'm in charge of making sure everything's run safely and making sure that everybody is doing what they got to do. I think the town's really excited and I think it's gonna be a good turnout,” said Justin. “We hope everybody has a good time. We're glad to be here and hope everyone enjoys it.”

The carnival started off on Friday with a bustling crowd eager to experience the thrilling rides and entertaining games. Food vendors served up classic carnival treats, or local dishes from restaurants such as Glipy Cups. Families, friends, and visitors from neighbouring towns flocked to the event, creating a large line to the ticket booth within the first hour.
