KAMSACK — On Sept. 27, the town of Kamsack hosted a barbecue with free burgers and ice cold drinks to have an early celebration of Truth and Reconciliation day. Various town workers and counsellors were involved in the barbecue, sponsored by various businesses in Kamsack.
Councillor Shelley Filipchuk said in an interview with the Kamsack Times, “I think it went really well. We had a lot of people, the community supported us. It was a good turnout. We had 300 burgers and they're all gone. So it was great!”
