Two ATV’s competed against each other to reach the end of the mud pits. The Mud Bogs were hosted by the Kamsack Mud Slingers, with various classes of vehicles competing.

KAMSACK - The 2024 event certainly lived up to its name, annual Mud Bog as rainy weather contributed to the theme of the event, letting Mother Nature do her thing.

The organization, Kamsack Mud Slingers, decided to move from their traditional Canada Day date to align with the Town of Kamsack’s Town Fair, this year held on June 21.

In addition to the always popular mud slinging event, there will be midway rides, concession, beer gardens and music.

Organizers say in their social media post, “We feel with moving the mud bogs to a weekend, it’ll help us grow the event into something larger.”

This will be the ninth year for this fun-filled, mud messy event. There are different categories for participants and the community says it is great entertainment for both participants and spectators alike.

The event encourages everyone to embrace the mud and embrace the adventure.
