Manitoba resident Calvin Paul has won $65,010.38 on the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s Rider Nation progressive jackpot at the Painted Hand Casino.
It was on his monthly trip to the casino when he sat down at the machine, took a couple of spins and hit the jackpot. Paul has no immediate plans in place for his winnings.
“It hasn’t really sunk in yet. I still think that I’m going to wake up tomorrow and it was all just a dream,” Paul says.
Zane Hansen, President and CEO of SIGA, offers his congratulations to the winner.
“On behalf of the Board and employees of SIGA and the Painted Hand Casino, we would like to formally congratulate Calvin Paul on his win,” Hansen says.
“We’re happy to see Mr. Paul win this life-changing prize. It’s always exciting when a jackpot this size is won at the Painted Hand Casino,” adds Charles Ryder, Painted Hand Casino General Manager.
The Rider Nation progressive consists of 32 slot machines across all six casinos with patrons spinning to win one of four jackpot tiers. This mystery jackpot is guaranteed to pay out between the minimum and maximum value at each tier level. When patrons play a Rider Nation Progressive game they could win up to $100,000.
To date, the four mystery jackpots on SIGA’s Rider Nation progressive have paid out more than $1.4 million. The jackpot has now been reset and can be won at any time.
