Parkland College is looking for additional donors to contribute to its Internal Scholarship Program. The internal scholarships are awarded to students that are enrolled in Parkland College programs at any of our campus locations across the region.

The award ceremony for the internal scholarships will be awarded to students at a presentation ceremony in March 2011.These scholarships are an addition to the entrance scholarship awards that were previously awarded to students in late September. A total of $35,000 in entrance scholarships were given away to 22 recipients and all of these recipients have chosen to gain either university or technical skills post-secondary training at one of the five Parkland College campuses.

The Centennial Merit Program is a matching program in which funds are provided on a dollar for dollar basis with local non-government donors. For every $500 raised locally, the province will match accordingly to support scholarships for high academic achievers. There is currently $10,000 available to be matched with local non-government donors.
