Peter Moroz, President of the Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood, recently presented a cheque to Ross Fisher, Executive Director, of The Health Foundation, to assist paying for the development of a conceptual plan for a new regional hospital. "We really appreciate this donation," said Ross Fisher. "The Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood have been very supportive of the work of The Health Foundation; they have made contributions to most of our major projects." "I think everyone knows there is planning taking place for a new hospital, and we can see how the foundation is raising funds to pay for it. We talked about it and decided that this is a very good cause to support, and thought we would make a contribution like other businesses and organizations have been doing," said Mr. Moroz. "We raise money through our bingos at PK Bingo and through our annual lottery," he continued. We like to donate the funds we raise to causes that make a direct difference in people's lives, and we think a new hospital will definitely have that kind of impact. "In addition to the support we give The Health Foundation we also support the Salvation Army, the Nutrition Program at St. Mary's School, Youth Camp at Madge Lake, and Kinsmen Telemiracle."
