Bredenbury Lions Club had their Mother's Day draw and the winners are: Bill and Kim Scott - Esterhazy, $75 gift certificate to Purity Estehetics; Delores Peterson - Canora, SK. $50 gift certificate to Elaine's Hair Shop; Margaret Nicholson - Bredenbury, $50 gift certificate to Sunnyside Golf Course. Congratulations Winners. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported our club.

Sympathy from the Community to relatives & friends of the Late Dell Wiley, whose funeral was Thursday, May 6/10 from Knox United Church Bredenbury.

Thank you too all the local residents and the folks from neighbouring communities who attended the Bredenbury Lions Club Mother's day Brunch on Sunday

The Lion's Club will be hosting a Community Picnic on Tuesday, June 15. Watch for posters. On Saturday, May 1 a large crowd turned out to honour our Bredenbury Cougars Hockey team at their Annual Dinner & Awards night. An excellent Roast Beef Dinner was served by the Minor Sports ladies followed by the program where all the players were introduced. We salute a great team!

Special Awards went to:MVP Chosen by the team, Justin Keller; High Score, Justin Keller; Peoples Choice, Justin Keller; Top Defenceman, Lindsay Thompson; Most Improved Player, Reagan Kitzul; Most Dedicated Player, Kevin Byblow; Community Spirit Award, Darren Dyke.

The evening finished with a dance and lots of fun.

On behalf of the Knox United Church we'd like to welcome Emma and Desting Revet who were baptized this past Sunday. They are the daughters of Mark and Lisa Revet of Churchbridge.
