It was supper on the street time in Bredenbury Tuesday as the local Lions Club hosted its annual community picnic.
A section of Third Avenue in the community was blocked off, adjacent to the downtown playground which was convenient for the younger attendees. While children played, or took rides on a garden tractor pulled trolley, adults could enjoy hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad and watermelon, all for just a donation.
Following the picnic the community was invited to wander over to the old school grounds where a ball game was being held,
