Post mistress retires

Congratulations to Joanna and Kenny Martin of Fenwood on the birth of their fourth child, a daughter Aspen Sky. Aspen was born on April 6, 2010 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. She weighed 7 pounds 0 ounces.

Congratulations to Joanna and Kenny Martin of Fenwood on the birth of their fourth child, a daughter Aspen Sky. Aspen was born on April 6, 2010 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. She weighed 7 pounds 0 ounces. A little sister for Tyler, Jeremy, and Ashley. Proud grandparents are Sandra Walker of Fenwood, and Garry and Ann Martin of Yorkton. Proud Great-grandparents are Clara and Alex Hilliar of Homefield.

Ruth Lutz recently retired from Canada Post with 10 years of service as a post mistress in the village of Fenwood. After years of braving wind, rain, sleet, snow and a snake or two, Ruth plans to spend many days on Good Spirit lake casting out and hopefully catching the "Big One". Congratulations Ruth!

On Sunday, April 26, St. Michael's Church in Goodeve, Father Boris had mass at 5 o'clock. After mass a delicious Easter Supper was held at the Community Centre. After supper the raffle was held and the winners were as follows:

First Prize - $100 went to Harold Hadewich, second Prize - $75 went to Martha Krewda, third Prize - $50 went to Debbie Makowetski, and fourth Prize - $50 went to Connie Sedlovitch. Father Boris thanked everybody for coming out, and enjoyed the delicious Easter supper.Just a reminder grave yard service will be held on May 30.
