Erica Baker is cheerful and helpful to her classmates and respectful and pleasant to her teachers. She has never complained about school work or being too busy. Erica has an excellent work ethic in all her classes. Last semester when she had six classes (including one at lunch) plus heavy dance commitments her homework was done everyday and she was always prepared for every exam. Erica has danced with Dance Innovations since she was 3 years old and attends classes 6 days a week. In addition, she teaches her own dance classes and has assisted with other dance classes for many years. This year she found the time to dance in the musical as well. She helps out at the St. Gerard's fall supper every year. Erica's leadership shows in the dance classes she teaches at Dance Innovations and also taught dance camp over February break. She taught many years of Children's Liturgy at St. Gerard's. She attends St. Gerard's regularly and has been an altar server for 7 years. She recently received her Gold Cross for serving as an altar server.
Reed Wishnevetski is an example to all. He is patient and tolerant and shows kindness to all, especially to those who don't catch on to things quickly. Reed Ukrainian dances with Yorkton Kalyna, is in band, choir, music ministry, musical and is on the school track team. He is in adult concert band and won music festival band solos and was recommended to provincials. Reed leads by example and is a hard worker and participates in school liturgies in choir.
Congratulations to Erica Baker and Reed Wishnevetski for winning Saint of the Month for May.
