Yorkton Kinsmen and Kinettes appeared on the Telemiracle Telethon March 6 to present the provincial organization with a cheque for more the $50,000. Saskatchewan came through with a total $5.4 million for the 40th Telemiracle, nearly a record except for 2012 when the annual fundraiser for special needs equipment and medical treatment brought in $5.9 million.
