New Masonic head The Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan recently announced David Polachek was elected Grand Master of Saskatchewan Freemasons at the 110th annual communication held in Regina, June 25. As Grand Master he will preside over 2500 Saskatchewan Freemasons in 52 constituent lodges. Polachek has chosen Yorkton for the site of the 111th communication of the Grand Lodge, and a committee of local Lodge members are now in the process making plans for the three day event to be held June 15, 16 and 17 in the city of Yorkton. This event will be the second in the history of Yorkton Lodge. The last communication held in the city was in 1957, when Tom Luke, the operator of a butcher shop in Yorkton, was the Grand Master.Submission
