A crowd favourite, the chuckwagon and chariots will kick the dust up on the track for three days’ Wednesday through Friday, of fast-paced races.
Of course a fair wouldn’t be a fair without the food so make sure to come hungry and indulge.
If you’ve never been, make sure to check out the Light Horse Show starting at 9 a.m. Thursday in the barn outdoor arena, and 4-H Regional Show & Sale Wednesday at the Agri-Pavilion. The two great events showcase local and area agriculture.
Other aspects of the four-day event include the Kiddies Day parade in the downtown area at 10 a.m. Thursday, and the main fair parade down Broadway Street at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The summer fair will end with the always popular fireworks display at 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
