SASKATOON – A 25-year-old man accused of killing 20-year-old Nykera Brown made his first appearance Thursday in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
Andrew Steven Rosenfeldt was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with second-degree murder. He was remanded in custody by law and his matter was adjourned to Nov. 24.
Saskatoon Police were called to a home in the 100 block of Avenue P South around 8:15 p.m. on Nov. 15 and found Brown deceased. Police say that Rosenfeldt and Brown were known to each other and they aren’t looking for any additional suspects.
Rosenfeldt also has a trial scheduled later this month on two counts of dangerous driving from a separate incident.
