Benefit supper planned

Irene Badowich and her daughter Debbie Bulitz of Yorkton were in Saskatoon this past weekend to attend a Memorial Celebration of Life for Wayne Dwernychuk that was held at the Forestry Farm, Zoo Hall in Saskatoon. Deepest sympathy to their families.

While in Saskatoon they visited Irene’s daughter Carrie of Spokan, WA and Carrie’s daughter Emily who is attending University in Saskatoon.

Church service for Easter Sunday, March 27 will be held in Saltcoats at 9:30 for the Bredenbury and Saltcoats congregations. Everyone welcome to attend this service.

A big thank you to all who attended the Bredenbury Church noon luncheon last Wed. Also, thanks to all who worked, donated and supported this successful event.

Bob and Lori Stonehouse attended the Johnny Reid concert in Brandon a couple weeks ago. Their granddaughter Kylie Charbonneau sang with her school choir on the stage with Johnny Reid.

The next Health Clinic will be held at the Busy Bees on Wed., April 6 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Anyone welcome to attend.

The Busy Bees will not be serving coffee at the hive on Mon., March 28 (Easter Monday) or Mon., April 4 (as election will be held there). On Mon., April 11 coffee will resume at the Busy Bees in the morning and afternoon.

Hockey and Skating season has ended for another year and the rink will be closing down for the season. Thanks to all workers and organizers who helped to make this a very successful season again.

Bredenbury Lion’s Club have decided to hold another “Mother’s Day Brunch” at the Busy Bees on May 8. Watch for more information as the time draws closer.

A benefit supper and dance for Mark Yankee will be held in the Bredenbury Community Hall on April 2, 2016. Cocktails 5 p.m. Dinner 6 p.m. (Beef on a bun) Dance to follow. Adults $10. Kids 12 and under $10 with guardian. Advance tickets only Churchbridge Credit Union and Bredenbury Bar.
