On July 5, 2021 at approximately 8:05 a.m., Carlyle RCMP officers responded to a head-on collision on Highway #13, approximately one kilometre east of Manor, SK.
Investigation determined that a SUV and a semi tractor-trailer collided. The lone passenger of the SUV, a 31-year-old male from Calgary, AB, was declared deceased on scene. His family has been notified. The driver of the semi received minor injuries.
Highway #13 was closed and traffic was redirected during initial investigation. The highway has since re-opened.
Carlyle RCMP and an RCMP collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
