The Saskatoon City Hall resumes its operations next week, January 2022, after the Christmas break.

SASKATOON — The City Clerk’s Office will be launching a new online appeal application and payment services starting in January.

Starting next week, when office hours resume after the two-week Christmas break, residents will have new and convenient options to make applications to appeal and pay associated fees.

The applications appeal and payment online are for the following: property assessment, development, and license appeals.

Property assessment appeals can be done by any property owner wishing to appeal a property that’s on the City’s 2022 Assessment Roll.

The owner can do so during the 30-day Assessment Review and Appeal period from Jan. 4 to Feb. 4, 2022.

Citizens can also make access to information requests, application, and payment online starting next year under The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP).

Other options to pay by cheque or money order and to apply via paper application for all appeal types and when requesting access to information will continue to be available.

The City Clerk’s Office is committed to making it easier for citizens to do business with the City.
