Judy Talbot was the lucky winner of the 50/50 draw. Some of the guests also moved over to the Memorial Hall to have a dance or two at the Potashville Singles dance to finish off the evening. Len Gadica supplied the music. There was a good turnout as over 90 people from a hundred mile radius enjoyed the dance followed by a midnight lunch.

Another great Christmas evening was held Mon., Dec. 12 at the Memorial Hall sponsored by the DRA. Again a delicious potluck supper with a lovely selection of dishes was enjoyed by approximately 55 persons in attendance. Taking part in the singing, Christmas readings, joke telling, dancing and acting on stage were Oren, Nolan & Casey Cairns, Cassandra Nagy, Marty Haubrich, Jordon, Jolene, Emily and Dylan Chopping, Riley & Ashalee Talbot and Paisley & Keaton Duchek. Santa Claus made an appearance and visited with each child as he passed out candy bags to everyone. $200 donations were presented to the DRA from both the Yorkton Co-op and the Cornerstone Credit Union to help with Hall upkeep. $375 was also raised during the evening for the same cause. Hopefully, that will pay the bills for 1 month during the upcoming winter
