Fishing Lake man found dead on road southwest of Saskatoon

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to identify any suspicious activity or vehicles on Hodgson Road near Highway 7, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15.

WARMAN — A 22-year-old male from Fishing Lake First Nation was found deceased about five kilometres southwest of Saskatoon Friday.

On Friday, April 15, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Warman RCMP and EMS responded to a report of an injured male on Hodgson Road near Highway 7, about five kilometres southwest of Saskatoon. The injured male was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified and his family has been notified. RCMP will not be releasing his name at this time.

Based on preliminary investigation, his death is considered to be suspicious in nature.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to identify any suspicious activity or vehicles on Hodgson Road near Highway 7, between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 15.
