On Friday, Misha Mokrytskyy, left, and Timothy Holoboff, who were being tended by Ardis Irvine, agreed to practice for today, which is Groundhog Day, by finding a teddy bear and another plush toy to fill in for groundhogs. But on Friday, the sun was out, the “groundhogs” must have seen their shadows, and would therefore hide away for another six weeks. If the boys take their “groundhogs” out today and if they cast no shadows, that would mean spring is on its way.
