YORKTON - The Yorkton and District Horticultural Society held its annual Fall Plant and Bulb Sale Sept. 22, at the Parkland Mall.

The sale started at 9:30 a.m., and was scheduled to run until 3:30 p.m., or while plants lasted, which given the pre-sale line-up would not have been too long.

In related news, the Horticultural Society also held their first meeting of the fall season Sept. 20 at the Yorkton Public Library.

Guest speakers were Ed Sek and Keith Hayward talking about plants that will attract bees, pollinators and butterflies.
