The Outlook RCMP is continuing to investigate after a pair of vehicles were stolen from a local farm near the end of February.
Sgt. Mark Langager reports that on Sunday, February 25, two trucks were stolen from a farm in the RM of Rudy while another stolen truck was left abandoned at the same farm. One of the stolen trucks was recovered near the village of Kenaston later that evening, but the other truck, a red 1998 Chevrolet 1500 with white pin stripes, was not recovered as swiftly as the first one.
In an update provided to The Outlook just this afternoon following his original report, Sgt. Langager noted that the second truck that had been stolen was located in Regina.
The criminals had been switching license plates on the stolen vehicles.
Sgt. Langager noted that the RCMP's investigation is still open.
