The Town of Preeceville made its council, board and committee appointments during a meeting of town council on November 23.
Following are the appointments according to Shirley Jackson, administrator.
Johnny Petryshyn, Welma Bartel and Stacey Strykowski were appointed to the finance committee.
Mark Bourassa, Sheldon Luciw and Welma Bartel were appointed to the protective committee.
Garth Harris, Darin Newton and Mark Bourassa were appointed to the public works committee.
Johnny Petryshyn, Sheldon Luciw and Darin Newton were appointed to the streets committee.
Welma Bartel, Darin Newton and Mark Bourassa were appointed to the human resources committee.
Sheldon Luciw, Stacey Strykowski and Garth Harris were appointed to the buildings committee.
Stacey Strykowski, Welma Bartel and Mark Bourassa were appointed to the nuisance committee.
Darin Newton, Welma Bartel and Johnny Petryshyn were appointed to the policies and bylaws committee.

Darin Newton and Sheldon Luciw were appointed to the Mutual Aid Area and Emergency Measures Organization and to the North East Area Transportation Planning committee.

Deputy mayors were appointed for November 2016 to October 2017. Mark Bourassa will be the deputy mayor in November and December; Sheldon Luciw, January and February; Johnny Petryshyn, March and April; Stacey Strykowski, May and June; Darin Newton, July and August, and Welma Bartel, September and October.
