RCMP Warns of Property Crime Escalation

The Outlook/ Elbow RCMP want to remind people that with the warm weather comes an increase in property crime. Please check your properties, garages and outbuildings and ensure they are secured.

The Outlook/ Elbow RCMP want to remind people that with the warm weather comes an increase in property crime.

Please check your properties, garages and outbuildings and ensure they are secured.  Check on your vacation or seasonal property to ensure that it is still secure.

Make sure your recreational items such as boats and quads are not an easy target.  Travelling Criminals have been known to travel with trailers and load up high-price accessible items that they can flip for easy money.

Please lock your vehicles and keep the keys with you.

The best deterrents for property crime are proper lighting, locking your items and dogs.

Let your neighbours when you are away so they can keep an eye out for suspicions activity.

Please remember to report any crime whether big or small to your local RCMP detachment.  It is very important that we know about all crime so we can do our best to combat it.
