YORKTON - Sacred Heart High School’s Construction 30 and Welding 30 students recently had the opportunity to put their skills to work.

Local businesses took students to put them to work in the construction and welding trades.

“Students worked on the job for one day to apply their skills and to see if it could be their future career,” explained Curtis Moen, welding/construction teacher at the school. “This gave them work experience while making connections for future employment.”

Moen added, Sacred Heart would like to thank all the businesses who gave up their time to work with these students: SveinCo Developments, N.L. Construction, Ram Industries, Yorkton Welding and Machine, Credence Construction and Omar’s Welding.
