SASKATOON —The Saskatoon Fire Department is teaming up with The National Fire Protection Association to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week from Oct. 9 to 15.
Leading up to this milestone, SFD will be hosting a series of Open Houses in support of this year’s theme, “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape.” The open house events will run from Sept. 14 to 27 and all are welcome to attend.
Residents are encouraged to visit SFD stations on the following days:

Each open house will include fire engine tours, an obstacle course for kids, presentations by the fire prevention team, ethnic food provided by community organizations, fire swag and the opportunity to meet SFD members from across the department.
