Saskatoon Police arrest man wanted on Canada-wide warrant

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit has arrested a 22-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for sex trafficking related offences. 

Mahad Farrah of Montreal, Quebec, had been wanted by Peel Regional Police in Ontario. 

Saskatoon Police arrested him at approximately 8 p.m., Jan. 5, in the 1200 block of Avenue C North after investigators conducted a vehicle stop. 

The SPS Vice and Human Trafficking Unit is currently making arrangements for the accused’s transport back to Ontario to face charges.
