SASKATOON – A 32-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing a number of charges following an arrest by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit.
The officers were in the area of the 400 block, Avenue I South at approximately 12:45 a.m., on Dec. 15 when they witnessed a woman who was known to them breach her court conditions. When she saw the officers, she attempted to leave the scene. She was taken into custody and a search found her to be in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, a knife and bear spray.
She is facing charges including three counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and two counts of carry a concealed weapon.
