All roads led to Veregin on June 24 for the 73rd annual shishliki barbecue held by the Veregin recreation board.
As volunteers skewered, roasted and served the lamb meat, others tended a bar and sold pies and tarts for the Save the Hall committee, while others sold 50/50 tickets.
Members of the executive of the rec board include: Jason Chernoff, Aaron Chernoff, Jeff Bloudoff, Ruby Dubasov and Tarcy Choptik. They were assisted by a host of volunteer helpers.
