Vintage car show attracts many enthusiasts

Automobiles from across the region were showcased for their vintage and newer treasurers with the public at the Sturgis Sports and Rodeo.

STURGIS  -A car show and shine that attracted vintage car enthusiast was a huge success with 25 entries during the Sturgis Sports Day on June 25.

“It was another great show with a lot of support from the local and surrounding area,” said Bob Bartch, organizer.

The top four fan favourite awards were voted on by those in attendance. 

The top People’s Choice was won by John Dvorak of Swan River (1950 Ford Coupe). Iona Hleboff of Canora was the second-place winner for her 1976 El Camino. Danny Suchoplas, of Swan River won the third People’s Choice award for his 1971 Mustang. The fourth award went to Gene Keyowski of Canora for his 1958 Edsel.
