SASKATOON – Saskatoon Police have re-issued their plea to the public to help them locate Summer-Sky Henry who is wanted for Megan Gallagher’s murder.
Gallagher went missing in Saskatoon in September 2020. Four months later, Saskatoon Police said they were treating her disappearance as a homicide.
“You can be the difference in bringing some closure for the Gallagher family,” Saskatoon Police posted on social media Monday.
On Oct. 5, Saskatoon Police requested the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Summer-Sky Henry. A warrant has been requested for first-degree murder in relation to Gallagher's homicide. In total, nine people have been charged.
Henry also has unrelated charges including two counts of unlawful confinement, two counts of robbery, possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of robbery, aggravated assault, and failing to appear in court.
Court documents obtained by SASKTODAY.ca show that Henry is accused of unlawfully confining, assaulting, and stealing from a woman on Jan. 1 or 2. In that incident, she was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, theft, and failing to comply with release conditions of not having any contact with 42-year-old Faith Eagle.
Henry, along with Eagle, are accused of unlawfully confining and robbing a victim on Dec. 22, 2021, in Saskatoon.
Henry also faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and having a loaded shotgun without a license stemming from a Dec. 23, 2021, incident in Saskatoon.
Court documents show that Henry made her last scheduled appearance on those charges on Sept. 16.
Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Summer-Sky Henry to call 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Police say that if you see her, police request you do not approach, and call 9-1-1 immediately.
