A group of archers from Yorkton and surrounding area will be the lone Canadians in attendance when the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) puts on its world challenge this week in Florida.
Also competing will be teams from Australia, New Zealand, as well as numerous American teams, said Yorkton's team coach, Mike Jarvis.
Representing Yorkton/Canada will be: Kelsey Banga, Matthew Tripp, Ian Green, Garrett Baseley, Brett Heskin, Kenton Doupe, Eric Pedwell, Brayden Jarvis, Payton Weinmaster, Larissa Schick, Cassidy Banga, Cailin Jarvis, Andrea Landstad, Nora Lazurko, Ashley Teneycke, Carolyn Hauser, Kayla Bewcyk, Lea Burnard, Hunter Frankfurt.
Also making the trip will be coaches Jarvis, coach Leann Jarvis, coach Tessier, Lazurko, Doupe and Risling.
The above mentioned were scheduled to depart from Minot, ND., where they will fly to Minnesota before making a connecting flight to the Sunshine State.
Coach Mike Jarvis said the work involved to get everybody to their destination is never ending.
"There's four different waiver forms," he noted.
He also wishes to extend a 'thanks' to all of the sponsors, whom he noted there are "way too many to name".
