The SMAAAHL Harvest and Saskatoon Contacts split a pair of games over the weekend at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
"We were hoping for a win," says head coach Jeff Odgers following a 4-2 loss Sunday.

He said penalties got the best of his team Sunday and almost the day before too (Saturday).
Yorkton held a 5-2 advantage in the third period Saturday, saw the lead evaporate, but hung on for a 5-4 win, their first of the season.
Despite facing 53 shots in that game, Harvest goaltender Teryn Phaneuf stopped 47 in which his team hung on to win in the last few minutes of the game.
He got goal support from Odgers, Tanner Lesann, Jake McMillen and Adam McCannell
The Harvest hosted Notre Dame last Wednesday afternoon, and were handed a 7-1 loss in their home opener.
The team was also presented with a cheque for $3640 by Terry Ortynsky of Terry Ortynsky's Royal Ford.
The money was made possible thanks to a campaign which encouraged people to take test drives of Ford vehicles. The car dealership donated $20 for each individual who test drove a vehicle. The campaign helped raise $3640 which they presented to Yorkton Harvest president Garth Simms.
All seemed well off of the ice however the same could not be said of what took place on the ice that evening.
Visiting Notre Dame had opened up a 3-0 lead by the midway mark of the opening period.
They scored the lone goal of the second period and added three more in the third period to take a 7-0 lead. Yorkton's Devin McGonigal did get one back for the Harvest to break the shut out bid, from Kody Thue and Adam McCannell.
Notre Dame scored four of their goals in the power play and had 12 opportunities in total. The Harvest went 0-7 on the man advantage.
Notre Dame also had 44 shots on goal. Nearly half of them came in the final period.
NEXT ACTION
The AAA club next plays at home tonight (Oct. 5) when they welcome the Tisdale Trojans to the Farrell Agencies Arena. Action gets underway at 8 p.m. Tisdale has a record of 2-1 as of Tuesday morning.
The Harvest also acknowledged the help of Wayne Henley, who is the team manager. The League honoured him Sunday during a pre-game ceremony. Henley has been involved with Midget AAA for 27 years.
