The East Central Districts of high school badminton took place Monday afternoon in the Land of the Orange.
The Yorkton Regional High School finished in the top three Aggregate team standings while the Sacred Heart High School right, placed first with 52 points. From the YRHS, Brandey Blahut, Darren Tillman and Brittany Brenzen went home with medals.
From Sacred Heart, Dylan Johnson/Anthony Fetsch won gold, Eilish Stranghan/Brianna Ostafie won silver, Emily Kruger/Preston Liebrecht won silver and Riana Skikewich/Justin Guy won bronze.
Athletes from both schools that finished with either gold or silver are now on their way to Notre Dame (Saskatchewan) for SHSAA Regional action on May 5.
