Local baseball league expands to 12 teams

The South East Senior Baseball League will look slightly different this year for local baseball enthusiasts. There will be some new faces as well as some not seen in awhile as one team was introduced, and a second team re-introduced.


The South East Senior Baseball League will look slightly different this year for local baseball enthusiasts.

There will be some new faces as well as some not seen in awhile as one team was introduced, and a second team re-introduced.

The 2012 version of the SESBL saw the league expand by two teams. The league welcomes former SESBL team and 2002 league champions, the Langenburg Indians back to the fold.
The league also welcomes the new Yorkton Orioles into the league as a half-schedule team.

Also, the league welcomes aboard the new 2012 and 2013 executive from the Willowbrook Royals, new president Jeremy Hrebenik and vice president Garrett Beres and secretary Brian Kolodziejski.

Teams competing this year include: the Willowbrook Royals, Canora Supers, Melville Bison, Swan River Reds, Langenburg Indians, Parkland Padres, Yorkton Junior Cardinals, Yorkton Yankees and the Yorkton Orioles.

The Padres and Orioles will play only half schedules
