The new instructor is Heather Jaleb, who will hold practices Fridays when the rink kitchen will be open. Lesson times will be set once registration is complete, she said, adding that the club executive committee is comprised of Kaeley Kish, president and Nicole Korpusik, vice-president. She has agreed to serve as secretary-treasurer.

Registration was held and the fi rst set of lessons for the Ukrainian dance students were taught September 14 at the Covenant Church, Lilia Livingstone said.

More than 30 children aged four to 17 years were registered, she said. There is also the possibility of an adult dance group. Registrations are still being accepted, and persons are asked to contact Jennifer Lindgren, the dance club president, with any questions or to register.

Ukrainian dance lessons will continue to be held weekly on Monday nights, with specific group lesson times to be determined, she said. The club plans to hold a bottle drive as its fall fundraiser.
