YORKTON - The Parkland 18U AAA Expos had a rough week on the diamond.

It started with an outing to Regina last Tuesday (June 28).

Things looked good for the Expos early against the Athletics leading 6-0 into the third inning thanks to an interesting opening frame. The team scored a run when Bryker Smith was hit by a pitch, then Chen Murray had a two-run double, followed by a run-scoring single by Riley Stewart, before Kaden Pihach laid down a run-scoring bunt.

But the wheels completely fell off the Expo wagon in the fourth with Regina scoring 18, on their way to a 20-7 win.

It was only slightly better at home last Wednesday hosting the Regina White Sox.

The Sox had 14 hits in the contest and scored 14 runs doubling up the seven plated by the home side.
